LaRea Lawrence


Laura Prebeck Hang is an associate in Bracewell’s Washington, DC, office, where she focuses on complex commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense, and securities matters. Laura participates in representing clients throughout the trial and appellate process on a wide range of matters arising under state and federal law. She represents clients in connection with corporate compliance, securities fraud, and public corruption, as well as assists clients with internal investigations of potential misconduct, often in response to allegations of fraud or insider trading. She has experience representing clients in government investigations and enforcement actions brought by the DOJ, SEC, FINRA, and CFTC.

While in law school, Laura spent a semester interning at the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division, where she worked full-time in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Unit of the Fraud Section.
