Tony L. Visage
Tony Visage is the co-head of the firm’s Securities Litigation Group. Tony focuses his trial practice on securities, fiduciary duty, fraud and energy and commodities trading issues. He defends companies, directors, officers, boards and committees of boards in disputes alleging securities issues, breaches of fiduciary duties, and fraud. Because the energy enforcement regulations are based on the securities laws, Tony also represents several energy trading/marketing firms in investigations by and enforcement actions before FERC and CFTC Tony has first-chair jury and bench trial experience.
Tony represents boards, committees of boards and general counsels in special investigations in response to allegations of business fraud, criminal acts, labor and immigration violations, accounting irregularities and antitrust issues.
Tony represents officers and directors in investigations by federal agencies, including the SEC, the DOJ, OFAC, and the FTC, alleging violations of the securities, FCPA and antitrust laws.
Tony began his career at Bracewell LLP in 1993 and left the firm to become division general counsel for a Houston-based, Fortune 500, NYSE company. He returned to Bracewell in 2003.
