Survey of In-House Lawyers Finds Bracewell One of Most Feared Litigation Firms

HOUSTON — Bracewell & Giuliani LLP was named to the Most Feared Litigation Firms and Litigation Powerhouse: Complex Commercial Litigation list in BTI Consulting Group’s recently released 2013 Litigation Outlook.

BTI surveyed more than 240 general counsel and in-house litigation counsel for its Litigation Outlook report. The list of most feared firms was created based on their responses when asked what firms they would least like to see as opposing counsel. The Powerhouse list was compiled from firms listed by corporate counsel as those they would most like to have by their side in head-to-head competition.

In the last 12 months, Bracewell’s litigation attorneys have been lead counsel in more than 48 trials and arbitrations. Bracewell lawyers were or are currently lead counsel in matters in 22 different states and in several foreign jurisdictions, and more than 25 trials and arbitrations were taken to award or to final verdict.
