Bracewell’s Almaraz Named to Houston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40

HOUSTON – Bracewell & Giuliani LLP Partner Roxanne T. Almaraz was selected to Houston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list for 2015. The list is comprised of 40 individuals under the age of 40 who have proven themselves to be leaders within their companies and in the community. They will be honored at the 40 Under 40 Awards Ceremony on October 27, 2015, at Hotel ZaZa in Houston. The Houston Business Journal will also profile the honorees in a special 40 Under 40 edition on October 30.

Almaraz was selected from nearly 400 nominations across all industries. Judges scored nominees on leadership, overcoming challenges and community involvement. The 2015 panel of judges were Peggy Montana, retiring CEO of Shell Midstream Partners; Sue Kean, who most recently served as Vice President and CCO at McDermott International; Eric Lestin, Senior Vice President at CBRE; Molly Voorhees, President of Becks Prime; and Jason Kaminsky, founder of Worth It Ventures LLC.

In addition to her legal practice, Almaraz has served on the Finance and Audit Committee of the Discovery Green Conservancy since 2013. She is also a mayoral appointee to the Board of Directors of the Houston Zoo and was recently named to the Houston Parks Board.
