Michelle Disse


Serena Rwejuna focuses her practice on energy regulation and public policy matters. She advises energy companies and other clients in matters involving energy projects, hydroelectric licensing, applications, transactions and litigation before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). She has assisted with the preparation and filing of initial applications, compliance filings and various pleadings in connection with regulatory approvals and other FERC requirements.

Serena also advises energy and commodity firms on enforcement and compliance matters before FERC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). She has assisted in defending energy and commodity firms against allegations of market manipulation and related trading violations in investigations and enforcement actions brought before FERC and the CFTC.

While in law school, Serena worked as a law clerk for the Goodrich Corporation, which in 2012 became UTC Aerospace Systems after merging with Hamilton Sundstrand to become one of the world’s largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products.
