Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law, Nelli Nikova specializes in employment-based non-immigrant and immigrant visas. Nelli works closely with corporate clients providing guidance on emerging immigration policies and I-9 compliance issues.
In the course of her daily practice, she advises employers and their employees through the green card process, EB-3 skilled workers and EB-2 workers with advanced degrees, as well as the EB-1 category for individuals with extraordinary ability and multinational executives and managers. Nelli’s experience with non-immigrant employment visas includes H-1B specialty occupation, O-1 exceptional abilities, H-2B temporary non-qualified workers, L-1A/L-1B intracompany transferees, TN professionals from Mexico and Canada, as well as more specialized visa categories, such as investors, religious workers, healthcare professionals, and cultural exchange workers.
She has successfully handled complex naturalization issues and asylum cases and enjoys assisting with family-based petitions for green card. Nelli works closely with clients to develop the long-term strategy for each immigration case. Efficiency and a positive outcome for the client are her top priorities.
