Bracewell Represented RTIC Coolers LLC in Settlement with Yeti Coolers LLC

AUSTIN – Bracewell LLP represented RTIC Coolers LLC (RTIC) in a settlement with Yeti Coolers LLC (Yeti) over a patent infringement, trademark and trade dress dispute. On February 2, 2017, the companies announced the settlement of a series of lawsuits, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas – Austin Division, ending all litigation. Under the settlement, RTIC agreed to make a financial payment to Yeti, cease sales of all products subject to the lawsuit and redesign the products involved in the dispute.
