Two New Members Elected to Bracewell’s Firm-Wide Management Committee

HOUSTON — Bracewell LLP announced today that Partners Kate H. Day and Barron F. Wallace have each been elected to serve a three-year term on the firm's management committee.

Kate H. Day – Day is a Houston-based partner in Bracewell's highly acclaimed finance practice, recognized by Thomson Reuters as one of the top firms in the nation for borrower and overall issuance volume during the first nine months of 2016. She represents leading international banks and borrowers in senior and subordinated debt financings, acquisition financings, reserve-based loans, MLP financings and other credit transactions in the energy industry. Day received her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1997 and her bachelor’s degree from Rice University in 1993.

Barron F. Wallace – Wallace is a Houston-based partner and co-leader of Bracewell’s public finance practice, which Thomson Reuters recognized as being one of the top ten public finance practices in the nation during Q3 2016. Wallace’s public finance practice focuses on traditional finance, urban infrastructure and development, transportation and disclosure and securities matters. Wallace received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1989 and his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1986.
