Jason Cohen Named Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyer by Turnarounds & Workouts

Bracewell & Giuliani LLP restructuring attorney Jason G. Cohen has been named among the “2014 Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyers” by Turnarounds & Workouts magazine. Cohen was one of only 12 lawyers nationwide chosen for the honor.

Cohen's practice focuses on corporate financial restructuring, debtor representation and creditors' rights. He was recognized for his role in representing PPL Corp., the largest unsecured creditor in the bankruptcy filing of Southern Montana Electric Generation and Transmission Cooperative bankruptcy; and Tide Natural Gas Storage as creditor in the Falcon/Arcapita Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. Other representations noted by the magazine include work on behalf of Athens-based Omega Navigation, and Deep Marine Technologies, Inc.

The award recognizes restructuring attorneys under the age of 40 who are leaders in their practice. Honorees are selected by Turnarounds & Workouts’ editorial staff based upon attorneys’ recent representations and achievements.
