David L. Lawton Named On The Connecticut Bar Association's 2007 Pro Bono Honor Roll

CONNECTICUT --(May 8, 2008)-- Bracewell & Giuliani LLP associate David L. Lawton was named to the Connecticut Bar Association’s  2007 Pro Bono Honor Roll, which published in the May/June 2008 edition of Connecticut Lawyer.  

A frequent visitor to the Connecticut Juvenile Court, David represents children of indigent families where the state alleges parental neglect and takes temporary custody over the children.  David regularly handles cases referred to him by Lawyers for Children America, a lead child advocacy organization protecting the rights of children who are victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect.

The Connecticut Bar Association’s Pro Bono Honor Roll annually salutes the private attorneys and paralegals who donated their time to providing free legal assistance to low-income persons through an organized pro bono program.
