Bracewell Named a Law360 Energy Group of the Year for Fourth-Straight Year

December 22, 2014

HOUSTON – Bracewell & Giuliani LLP’s energy practice was named an Energy Group of the Year by Law360 for a remarkable fourth consecutive year. Bracewell was one of just eight energy practices recognized in 2014. All Practice Groups of the Year were selected based on significance of litigation wins or deals worked on; size and complexity of litigation wins or deals worked on; and number of significant, large or complex deals the group worked on or lawsuits won.

Bracewell was chosen in part for its depth and wide-ranging transactional, regulatory and litigation representations. The practice was also recognized for its work on behalf of high-profile clients such as Kinder Morgan, Inc., Duke Energy, Apache Corporation, and Phillips 66.

“To be named among the top energy practice in the U.S. for the fourth-straight year again speaks to the stellar reputation and quality of the members of our energy team,” said G. Alan Rafte, co-chair of the firm’s business and regulatory practice. “I think the key attributes that have allowed us to be successful is our extreme focus on the energy world and the depth of our energy teams across the energy spectrum. This honor is once again testament to the success of our strategy.”

Profiles of the winning groups will begin appearing on the Law360 website in January.
