Bracewell & Giuliani Announces Leadership Moves In Dallas Office

DALLAS  Bracewell & Giuliani LLP announced today that Partner Brock Bailey has assumed the role of office managing partner of the Dallas office. Immediate past Office Managing Partner, Sandy Brown, has been elected to serve a three-year term on the firm’s management committee. Additionally, Partner Bob Sheeder has taken the reins of the firm’s national labor practice.

“Our Dallas partners are providing strong leadership for the firm,” said Bracewell Managing Partner, Mark C. Evans. "Brock, Sandy and Bob will be great additions to our management team," added Evans.

Bailey represents and counsels developers, borrowers, owners, and lenders in the acquisition, development, financing, and divestiture of large commercial and industrial projects. Bailey's experience in the real estate industry includes office, industrial, multifamily, mixed use, and retail real estate projects. His practice includes all aspects of real estate development, zoning and land use, project finance and infrastructure development, as well as construction, leasing, acquisition, and disposition matters.

Brown's practice focuses on counseling and representing financial institutions and specialty finance companies in matters involving state and federal banking laws, regulations and enforcement actions and in corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, securities offerings, holding company formations, Subchapter S corporation elections, and in matters involving privacy and identity theft. Brown served as office managing partner in Dallas for nearly 13 years.

Sheeder represents management in all aspects of labor and employment law before federal and state agencies and courts. His practice includes litigation and counseling of management on areas including discrimination, harassment, collective actions and class actions, union organizing and wage-hour issues.
