Bracewell Elects Two New Members to Management Committee

Bracewell & Giuliani LLP has announced that Houston Partners Stephen B. Crain and W. Cleland Dade, have been elected to each serve three-year terms on the firm’s management committee.

Crain, who heads Bracewell's energy litigation group, is a trial lawyer and former management committee member. His practice focuses predominantly on matters arising in the energy industry (including representing power developers and producers, power traders, and suppliers to the energy industry), disputes involving alleged violations of securities laws (including representing public companies, officers and directors, and special committees), and large-scale construction disputes.

Dade advises diverse businesses and energy industry companies on a variety of corporate and securities law matters, including mergers, acquisitions, stock and asset acquisitions as well as general corporate matters, executive compensation arrangements, securities reporting, and national securities exchange listings among other related matters. He provides counsel to investors regarding debt and equity securities issued by private companies and in public securities offerings, and advises clients on the formation of joint ventures and strategic alliances, project finance transactions, securities law disclosure matters, and corporate control arrangements.
