Could New York City’s system of public-financing of elections be in constitutional jeopardy? According to Bracewell & Giuliani election & campaign finance law attorney Larry Levy the answer is ‘yes’. Along with co-author Andrew Rafalaf, Levy explains in a recent blog post for the Albany Government Law Review how a recent ruling by SCOTUS underscores several of the Justices’ distaste for public financing.
