Bracewell hires entry-level attorneys primarily through its summer associate program. Summer associate hiring begins in August with on-campus interviews of second-year law students, followed by fly-back, in-office interviews during August and September. We are pleased to consider applications from second-year law students at schools where we do not interview on campus. Applications should be submitted in early August here. The firm evaluates each year which offices will have a formal summer associate program based on the firm’s current entry level hiring needs. If you do not see an opening for a summer associate position in the office you are interested in, that office has either completed hiring for their summer associate program or is not currently having a summer associate program.
First-year law students who are interested in applying for our summer associate program should submit an application in early December here. Per NALP guidelines the links to apply for 1L positions will not be active until December 1. Please note that not all offices with summer programs hire first year students. We typically interview first-year candidates during December and early January.
